Back to School

The summer is winding down and back to work and school we go! Both Richard and I started back to work last week. His kids started this past Monday. Mine won't start until the August 26th!

Logan is starting school on the 26th! He will be riding a school bus and everything! He tried on his backpack and it is a big as he is! I will definitely try to post 1st day of school pics!

Landon is really talking now! He repeats pretty much everything we say now!

At the daycare, they moved Landon into the 2 year old room! I can't believe he is already big enough to be in the 2 year old room!!! His new teacher says he is doing well in there. He is such a big boy!

Here is Landon styling one of the new Huggies diapers that looks like a pair of jeans! I think he is much cuter than the boy on the commercial!

Logan

Logan will turn 3 years old on Friday, July 9th! I don't know where the time has gone. It seems like yesterday he was the baby I was holding, but now he will be 3 and Landon is definitely not a baby.

Landon is already beginning to talk. He knows mama, dada, bubby (Logan), Papa, ju (juice) and his favorite is the word BALL! He loves pointing to things and asking, "oooh, what's that?" I've also heard him say Dvd after Logan said it. He runs and tries to jump. It's amazing how well he is already starting to talk. I guess he learns faster because he watches Logan. I don't know when he decided to become a toddler! My boys are growing too fast.
Landon before his first haircut!
Landon after his first haircut!

It's great to have the summer off from work, but I am kept busy with school and working with kids at a local recreation summer camp. School is going well. I really enjoy my classes now that I taking things related to my field of work!

I'm sorry I don't post on my blog like I used to. I've been really busy with school, work, and kids! Landon turned 1 on January 21st and we had a monkey themed birthday party.

Landon started walking as his primary mode of transportation January 29th! He already says mama, dada, juice, bubba (brother), nana (his teacher at daycare), and he makes lots of other sounds! I don't think he will have the speech problems Logan had. He has 6 teeth as of today but it looks like there will be more soon! He loves his bubby, Logan!

Logan is 2 1/2 now! He is to smart for his own good. He tested out of speech services with the school board. When he turns 3 his speech therapy will stop.

He knows his shapes, colors, letters, and he counts to 12! He can point to objects and count correctly to 10. He is talking a lot now. He loves to pedal his tricycle and play outside on his play set. We are working on using the potty now. He has a very big imagination, which is great! Goodnight moon is still his favorite book. He loves his Grammy and Papa Bobo and his Mimi and Papa Adams. He is also very stubborn. He does so much now! It is hard to write it all and it would take forever to do!

This semester in school, I am taking Child Psychology and Speech ( something I conveniently neglected to take) ha ha.... Not really. I have to take speech before I can do my education classes.

I've also been suffering from writers block lately... at work with my observations of children and for my blog. I've been in a writing slum...

Who knows when I will blog again! I will be focusing my brain on school!
